So James is moving around, in an odd sort of way, and he managed to get himself under the sofa the other day. Guess it is time for those baby gates to go back in!

James passed out the other day and wanted to sleep like this! Rose is actually drawing faces now!

Earth Day

Ok, so I meant to post these last Thur, but here we are and it is Tue! Anyway, in spirit of the day, we built and decorated box 'cars' with our friends the Rulis. We also had DIRT as our dessert after lunch. They had fun with the worms.

Its WARM!!!

This past week has been so warm, we've been going to the park. Here Rose is pushing James on his very first swing ride! And yes, he is that much bigger than Rose...all she has on him is height.

Rose is a flower girl

We went to London last week for Sara's aunt's wedding, and Rose was a flower girl. She did really well and sat quietly through the wedding. This is the best picture I have of her from the wedding, but she will wear the dress again at Easter and I will be able to get a better one then. I don't even have one of James!

A backup...

Ok, so we have been in London for the last week and I haven't been able to update the blog, so here is a picture I just happened to have on the computer to hold you over until I can get some newer pics up. This is Rose's idea of playing with her brother...sticking stacking cups on his toes and trying to get him to 'drink' from them.

Story Time

Just before our friends moved out of town we stopped by and ended up in story time. I thought it was great how all the kids piled up on her lap to see the pictures. We will miss them!

Oranges

Funny story:
Rose has been really into the clementines ('oranges') that are out this time of year, so I thought I would try a real orange the other day. I cut it up in slices and showed her how to eat it off the peel. Then we were talking about the fruit and I told her it would help get rid of her runny nose. So what did she do? Stuck the orange up her nose!

SNOW!

So it started snowing on Friday at lunch time and didn't stop until Saturday at dinner time. Dan and I are debating if it is a total of two or two & a half feet of snow. I lean towards more, he says less. As you can see we were only able to make one path out to the sidewalk; the snow was so heavy and we didn't really have anywhere to put the rest of the snow anyway. Hopefully Dan can get the car cleaned off today and maybe we can get out of here to a friends going away/Super Bowl party.

Everday Activities

I finally relented on the playdough and Rose is having a blast with it.

They both fell asleep after church on the way to Panera, then proceeded to sleep through breakfast. Ah peaceful.
