As Rose gets older, I am broadening my crafting limitations...i.e. I am letting her play with glue, that is glittery, that could end up all over kitchen...without stressing too much about it!!! So the basic idea behind this craft is to squeeze a bunch of glitter glue in the shape of a snowflake on to a piece of wax paper. And by a bunch, I really mean, have fun and get it nice and thick...the thicker the better. Let it dry over night and then peel it off the wax paper. It really does work...even if when you wake up in the morning and look at the dried glue and think, 'hmm...I don't think this is going to work', it still does! Although the thinner parts are much more fragile.
I found this idea at this site.
