We went to look at boats the other day (she is wearing a sailboat shirt...you might be able to see it) and Rose was very thoughtful in this picture.

Our New Favorite Pasttime!

We have been going to the free Regal movies this summer. The first one was Curious George, so Rose was enthralled the whole time. Others haven't gone as well, but hey, they're free.

Here Rose is getting some quality Daddy time - helping him write a memo for the office on something called 'smart pigs'...hmmm what DOES he do all day?

Zoo & Too Cute

We went to the Zoo with some friends on Sunday and Rose really liked getting to see all the animals. The bears and monkeys were the most memorable.

She was just being too cute this afternoon, which reminded me I hadn't put pics on the blog recently so...

At the Beach

This is Rose's first experience with amusement park rides. The boardwalk has some great little kid rides that Rose just loved. The favorite was the carousel, but if you look closely you can see her devilish grin on the car.

Aunt B and Thomas built a sand throne for Rose to sit on and take in the view. She mostly liked destroying any castle elements that were added.

By Sunday, Rose had the routine down and was dancing around the kitchen waiting for everyone else to be ready to go down to the beach. She even had the cooler ready!

Memorial Day

We spent the day on the boat. Rose has a room that is just her size - see, she can lay down and touch the ceiling with her toes! Of course, after a relaxing day on the water, she passed out on the ride back to the dock.

Rose's Pitters

We had a beautiful day yesterday and went to a park. There happened to be a lot of caterpillars crawling around. Rose was very interested in them and called them 'pitters'. Dan gave her one on a stick which she would wave around. She would laugh when it crawled on her hand and pet it saying 'nice pitter'.

A New One!

I apologize for all the delayed posts...but I haven't been feeling well lately. Mostly attributed to the little one pictured above. This is from 4 weeks ago today. Head on the left, arm sticking down, and bum on the right. That makes us due for #2 around Thanksgiving.

I'm NAKED!

So we knew that Rose liked being naked after her bath, but I didn't realize it went so far! She was sitting playing with her toys when I hear a slightly distressed whine. So I look over and her arms are stuck in her shirt but the rest of her is stark naked, diaper and all. Then she proceeded to dance around with her singing octopus and play with her blocks....hmm guess she really likes being naked!
